Well, I didn’t think one week before the clocks change to signal our summertime that we would be in this current situation.

Not really sure what to write but here is a short video explaining :

A huge thanks to you all for your kind words over the last week. Along with my family, we have been self-isolating since last Thursday as my son Callum developed a new bad cough & temperature.

Good news is he ok now, we are therefore following government rules and doing our 14 day isolation period. Not sure what will be available come the end of our stay at home period but I really just want to go out for a long walk!

Golf Challenge

Over the next few weeks, we will try to keep u busy with some basic challenges that can be done from home if u have a few clubs/balls lying about. First one is the keepy up challenge:

- All you need is one golf ball
- One person to video you
- A wedge or similar type of club
- The only rule is it must be your first take
- Send your video to me on WhatsApp with a total count
- Winner will be announced in next week news
- Prize will be handed over once we are back open

Hugh and his staff have taken all the pins & flags into safekeeping for the time being and my plea to you so if you are out for a walk and see anyone hanging about or messing about on our course then ask them politely to leave.

Shop Accounts

All your pro shop accounts are now available through the new Scottish Golf VMS System.

Some of you have been in touch to pay off your pro shop balances and indeed some of you have actually made a payment to your account to keep you in the + and also help me with a little cash flow.

This is greatly appreciated - if any of you are reading these words and want to do either: make a payment on your balance or add some funds to your account then I can provide bank details to do this electronically.
