Following on from last week's announcement of my new winter coaching class in St Columba's, I am delighted to say that the five-week block is full. I am looking forward to starting next Monday with the ladies. Details will follow in the coming weeks of another block to begin the New Year.

Make sure you come up to the course this weekend and watch our national team continue their fight for qualification to the Euro's. Friday's match will be shown LIVE on both screens with FREE pies at half time (see bar for more details).

Last week saw a very successful bonfire night and fireworks display. We were extremely lucky that the weather gods played their part and with around 500 of the local community turning up. A big thanks to Hugh, Willie, Jake, Stephen, Faisal and all the other helpers on the night. The next major family date for your diary is Santa's annual visit to GGC. Please call the bar to book your kids in to this very popular club event happening on Sunday, 14th December. 

Work is continuing on the second green this week so please be careful when playing towards the winter green at this hole.

Winter Mats - please ensure that you have a mat and all of your playing partners please. We have had reports of some members not using mats or kicking ball to side of the fairway! This is not allowed and please follow the winter rules to ensure our fairways are of the highest quality next season.
