Welcome to this week's newsletter,
I am sitting writing this on the day of my assistant's 80th birthday!!!! So what can I say about this young man, seen here aged 15, on his way to play in the local flute band.
John has been a volunteer in my shop for the past nine seasons, before me he helped out some of the other PGA professionals but has served on all committees and been a huge help to GGC as a whole. From divoting to Match & Handicap, he does it all. The 6am starts on Saturdays allowing me to arrange lessons and play in tournaments - I don't quite know what I would do without him!
Happy birthday lethal, enjoy your day.
As you may have seen previously, I am running my Annual Customer Survey on the website. This survey will be used to help me improve the services I offer you in store. Not only that, but if there are brands which you are looking to buy but do not to see in store then this is your chance to say!
Some feedback from a few of you has been that there seems to be a point in the survey when you can't progress any further, which I would like to clear up now. On the second page, whereby you are asked what clubs you have in your bag, you need to click at least 10 of the options to be able to progress through to the next part of the survey. If you haven't got 10 clubs in your bag, can I ask you to tick the extra amount of options so that you can progress.
I would like to use this part of my newsletter to say thank you to all of you who have already completed the survey and to ask those who haven't to spare five minutes of your time to complete this survey - simply click here. It will not only be an asset to me, but it will also be of huge benefit to you, my customers. My thanks in advance.
This week we are continuing to clear out the summer stock, we still have few bargains on the SALE rail and a good selection of shoes as well. Please come into shop and grab a bargain whilst stock lasts.

This week we will be hosting our annual Sponsors' day. This event, on Friday, is our chance to say thank you to the people and the companies who support us throughout the year.
