Lady Captain Wins Again  

Moral Cowe and partner Emma Boyd topped the list of ladies competing in my opening day event, the ladies played very well and can be seen here collecting their prizes.


Andy Adams Golf Day   

In just under 2 weeks we host the inaugural Andy Adams Golf event, we are delighted to welcome Andy's friends from the Scottish Fire Service as well as local friends and family. As I write this we have around 11 tee slots available throughout the day - if you would like to play and help out this charity event then please get in touch with David McGinley by emailing david.mcginley@firescotland.gov.uk.


 

Senior Team Update

Our senior team have returned to action this season hoping to go one better than 2016 and win the league. They started their campaign last week v Port Glasgow and I am happy to report a winning start has been recorded, although narrow, all the players enjoyed the course on such a beautiful day as well as the catering provided by Adrian after the golf. Their next fixture is away against Lochwinnoch on the 24 - the team has been selected from the names who were available. 19 different players will have represented the club in these first two fixtures and there will be many more opportunities in future, starting away to Greenock on the 6th June, this sheet is now on the notice board to indicate your availability.


 

Pro's Day Change  

I am happy to report a change of date for my 2017 Professional's Day. My new date is Saturday 16th September and I hope to again get a full turnout. The 10th June will now be used for the 2nd round of the WE Turner as we were forced to abandon play on Saturday due to a few holes being completely underwater.
