Greetings golfers,

It's been a busy weekend in the Pro Shop with upwards of 30 new grips going onto clubs including quite a few FREE 7 irons included. Please take advantage of this offer while stocks last.

Callaway's new Epic driver continues to lead the charts followed closely by World No.1 Dustin Johnson and his TaylorMade M1, both will be available in your Pro Shop very soon .

My remodelling and merchandising of the Pro Shop is continuing and I thank you again for your patience. Deliveries continue daily and the shop will be full to bursting very soon.


 

The winter community coaching at St Columba's continues this week and it's been great to see our budding young superstars working hard and having fun.

The start of the season is only a few weeks away so please look out for next week's news to hear about my plans for opening day on 1st April as well as the full calender for this season, which will be available on my website.


 

Modernising Golf's Rules

Last week the R&A proposed some key changes to the Rules of Golf from 2019. Their Rules Modernisation initiative has been underway for a few years now and this is the next stage in that process. The aim is to not only make the Rules easier to understand, but also to address some of the game's current problems, such as speed of play, and ensure they fit the needs of today's game.
