Happy New Year from the Pro Shop.

Well we have now entered 2017 and you will all be returning to normality, maybe work or the children returning to school or just you normal routine. On behalf of John and I we would like to wish all members and customers a very happy new year and let's hope it is a wonderful year of weather at GGC.

This is my first news of 2017 and is just a short newsflash to say hello and from next week we will return to normal.


 

Christmas Raffle

My 2016 raffle was drawn at lunchtime on Christmas eve and the winners were as follows:

1st - Callaway Fusion Driver - Barry O'Docherty

4th - Glenmuir sweater and polo - Stuart Murray
5th - FootJoy holdall + balls + wine - Chris Ayliffe

7th - Wilson Staff Goodies - Jim Brown

A huge thanks to all the members and staff who supported my Christmas Raffle again this year. Around £1200 worth of goods were given out this year which is all down to your support - thank you.


 

One last mention before next week is to Brian, Ricky, Stevie, Craig and Brian who donned their Christmas jumpers on the 24th.

Although they couldn't play golf due to the weather, they did enjoy a game of monopoly and with a Peroni in the afternoon in the back room.

Well done lads also a special mention to Brian Moore ( pictured on the far right here ) who celebrated his 50th birthday on Hogmanay.
