Cobra to the fore
Hello from a sunny but windy Gourock GC. We have had some inclement weather over the past week but let's hope it is starting to settle down and May will bring some sunshine again. My next fitting event is coming up on the 19th with Cobra making their debut at Gourock GC. I only have a couple of spaces remaining so if you would like to get 30 minutes with their expert fitter get in touch here ASAP.
John Leith Update
As you all know, we haven't seen John Leith for 10 or so days now. I have been inundated with people wanting to know how he is. At time of writing, he is still relaxing in the 7-star IRH residence on Larkfield Road but after speaking to him this morning he is feeling much stronger and hopeful of a return home very soon. I would like to take this chance to thank everyone for their concern. John is a true stalwart of GGC and we don't know how we could cope not seeing his cheery face each morning.

Following on from the changes to Saturday Medals that come into play this weekend, here is an an update and reminder:

Senior League Update - Our senior team is about to start their league campaign for 2016, here is a message from captain of the team Chris Robertson:
"It has been great to see so many names on the board who are willing to participate in the squad this year. The Skelmorlie game has already been arranged but the sheets for the next few games against Routenburn & Largs are on the senior noticeboard for those who would like to be considered. Keep your eye out for future notices and we will try to accommodate everyone by using a rota system for selection"
Chris Robertson, Senior Team Captain.
